Hello!

I'm using access to make a database but I want to know if there is a way of making a form that can be filled in OUTSIDE of Access by children. So for example a HTML form stored locally on the server or even just an Excel file? Word? All help appreciated.

Does that work? Do you mean just use Google sheets?

Forms in Google are dead easy to set up. You can get them to write data to a google sheet. The data can then be manipulated in Google Apps... or you can copy and paste it into an Excel spreadsheet.

Thanks for your help on this. The only thing missing with Google Forms is the ability to upload an image, sound or video clip. We are doing a murder investigation and the children need to be able to upload the evidence they find. Perhaps there's a better solution than both of these things?
