marsdenprimary Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Hello! I'm using access to make a database but I want to know if there is a way of making a form that can be filled in OUTSIDE of Access by children. So for example a HTML form stored locally on the server or even just an Excel file? Word? All help appreciated.
elsiegee40 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Google sheets and then copy and paste the data?
marsdenprimary Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 Does that work? Do you mean just use Google sheets?
elsiegee40 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Does that work? Do you mean just use Google sheets? Forms in Google are dead easy to set up. You can get them to write data to a google sheet. The data can then be manipulated in Google Apps... or you can copy and paste it into an Excel spreadsheet.
marsdenprimary Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Thanks for your help on this. The only thing missing with Google Forms is the ability to upload an image, sound or video clip. We are doing a murder investigation and the children need to be able to upload the evidence they find. Perhaps there's a better solution than both of these things?
