gh5000 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Hi, Does anyone have the Apple Enterprise Support number written down somewhere? I did once upon a time but can't find it since the start of term. Getting an error when trying to do anything in ASM. "Connection Error, Apple School Manager encountered an error while trying to connect to the server". Cheers
ITJS2015 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I am in need of the contact number as we are still using Apple config 2 and would like to go over to ASM
Arreks Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Good luck! I couldn't get into my account for a month while waiting for their support.. 1
gh5000 Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 Lovely positive messages as always when using Apple products. I think this is a leave it until next year job. Their CSV import was a joke anyway. Maybe they'll get enough complaints about it.
Arreks Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Found the old info I had for them: 00800 2775 2775 extension 5050105 That's an extension for the senior advisors I believe..
RLR Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Currently getting the same message on our ASM. Can't create any new users at the moment and I can't seem to find the CSV upload area anymore? I just submitted a ticket here: https://www.apple.com/support/itunes/vpp-edu/
gh5000 Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 The CSV upload is number 2 on the setup assistant. Click your username (top right). You do it by SFTP upload which might be new to you.

What app are you using for the SFTP upload? I'm not having much luck and I'm not sure if it is a connection issue at apples end or me not using the app correctly!
gh5000 Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 Filezilla client I had to ask our school ISP (London Grid for Learning) to allow port 22 out through the firewall.
RLR Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Filezilla client I had to ask our school ISP (London Grid for Learning) to allow port 22 out through the firewall. Yep, looks like it was our firewall too. Thanks for the info!
RLR Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Another question. When I was testing this a few months ago I could upload a CSV file of just students to create their accounts. Now, it makes me upload all files such as rosters, staff, classes etc. Is there a way to just do one part of this?
