Promethean Acivpanel 75" active directory

Hi,

 

Can the promethean activpanel be joined to an active directory domain?

 

Where are getting 14 new 75" ActivPanels and would like them on our domain.

Hi crofmmv,

The ActivPanel itself cannot be joined to a domain, however the external android device which you will get with these ActivPanels can connect to your network.

 

You can use the android device has a "hotspot" for devices to connect to your network as an access point if you wish.

With the above mentioned AD join, does the 75" come with the OPS-G? If it does, can you post a link for guidance on this?

On the v6-75" there are x3 OPS options: Windows, No OS, or Android (OPS-G).

 

We offer no guidance on connecting an Android operating system to ActivDirectory, as that would be dependant on the provider you use, and whether they support its usage or not.

 

There are a number of different applications available that can connect to network shares, and also many MDM solutions that may allow connectivity into the AD environment, one of which would be Radix VISO (app provided by default on the box).

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately we are having to move away from Radix as we were not able to get this working and Radix provided absolutely no help in resolving the problem.

 

We have started to look into Airwatch (reason I asked about the upgrade to Marshmallow in the other post).

I do know that the ACG works with Airwatch in its current form....or at least it did (unless Airwatch have changed something?).
