I've found it 100% accurate when scanning an Apple Mac System, plus the downloadable .DMG is Macintosh only. At least Apple have full control over their Hardware.

The best way is to use Crucials site either put in the Model number or download the Mac System Scanner DMG. Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com
