I donated for a few years, only missed a couple due to new tattoos. No longer allowed to donate now.

Please donate. As a recipient of a transfusion when my Crohn's made me severely anaemic, I really appreciate just what a gesture blood donation is.

 

Sadly I can never donate it now due to persistent anaemia and being on immunosuppressents. I do feel quite guilty that I can't!

I'm sorry you can't donate, but you shouldn't feel guilty, that is what the blood drive is there for. The fact that you work providing IT Support shows that you care and help others, and I am sure there are other things you do which help people out. It's all swings and roundabouts.
