Jus wondered where it leaves owners who's cars are effected and have items stolen. Unfortunately, If it is possible for people to do and there is money or value involved then I'm sure the minority of people will find a way.

Probably not locked out of their cars.

 

In terms of insurance, you should be covered, unless it is explicitly excluded. It has always been the case that locks can be picked or locking mechanisms circumvented. Nothing new here really.

Very True, an old coat hanger springs to mind before they redesigned the lock buttons
