Just deployed windows 10 to my test room and its installed the US language and the keyboard layout is set in us aswell..

Is there a quick way to change it all back to UK and uninstall the US. (GPO or run once cmd prompt?)

with the frequency ms update the base image i dont even bother anymore i just use dism to kill apps and deploy from that

Did you manage to use DISM to kill apps in 1607? We are doing it the same way as 1511 but now the apps don't seem to be uninstalled when the image is installed, even though powershell says it has!

Do you want to create your own topic please. Not really related to my region or language problem.

Im not too sure, our images are set with en-gb as default, the original gpo was designed to work with cunninghams as their software defaulted to $ in their reports.

Where would I need to look in GPO settings - I can't find it?

You need to import it into a GPO. Right click on either user or preferences (i think its one of those) and import the adm.

On another note, we've had a few machines of late switch to the american keyboard layout for no apparent reason at the login screen. Ive been reading a few articles and there's some reg hacks we can be applied to computer config stop this happening which ive not tried yet.

HKEY_USERS > .Default > Keyboard Layout > Preload > 1 = 00000809

Also theres.. HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\International\Locale
