crayford Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Hi, we are a company supplying direct to schools and would like to explore the feasibility of sending electronic invoices to our customers with a view to them being able to import an e-invoice file directly into their accounts payable system rather than having to re-key from a pdf invoice. We would also include the pdf for ease of reference etc. Does anybody know if the facility for true e-invoicing is available in FMS, and if so, is anyone using it successfully please? Many thanks.
splattthecat Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Yes, FMS will support this. You will need to work with Capita on how to achieve it. Consortium for Purchasing and Distribution are using a web portal service to achieve this with some of our schools.
Banjo Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 You will need to work with Capita on how to achieve it. = Pay Capita for that privilege !
PhilNeal Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 It's written to the BASDA standard: Standards | BASDA http://www.basda.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/eBIS-XML-3.09.zip No need to pay us anything unless you want a copy of FMS/extra advice! 2
crayford Posted August 13, 2016 Author Posted August 13, 2016 Thanks Phil. I'll get someone to take a look at that and see how we get on. Will come back via the partnerhsip programme if we need to progress it further. Cheers.
