SIMs Workstation bizarre problem

Hi all

 

Has anyone had an issue where one morning SIMS and FMS was working fine and by the afternoon both were broken. Upon investigation we have found that SIMS has been removed from the Start Menu and ALL FMS and SIMS EXE files have been remove. It's like a virus that has been written purely targeting SIMS and FMS!

You're not getting some rogue unattended deployment that's re-imaging the machine? That'd be a pretty pointless piece of malware to be fair, it's more likely to be an automated process going funky.

run eset online scanner, rkill.exe , jrt.exe and malawarebytes ]

 

These are pieces of software which I use to get rid of rubbish of laptops. But if its a big problem then just re-image your machine and deploy sims out via solus
