We have a child coming up to our school in September with incredibly poor eyesight. He can see a screen in front of his nose, but has no hope of seeing the board wherever he sits. At his primary school, he had a laptop at his desk which could VNC to the computer connected to the whiteboard. In high school obviously he's going to be moving about so he'll need to connect to more than one screen, and he's not really going to want to carry a laptop around with him all day. We have Impero if that's any use, and a spare iPad. Someone must have this already at their school?

Thank you

If they have special needs they should have an allowance for equipment. If any equipment was bought for them previously with this money-- it should come with them--- .i.e. the laptop..

When we had this at the last place I worked we created a group within impero so the student could shadow the teachers screen from a laptop in each room they used.

You can use team viewer presenter on the staff machine but have an ipad which connects to the client machine. This will only allow the student to view it rather than control it but it gives you the feature of zooming in on a particular part of the screen

Hope this helps
