Securing Sound System Trolley

Ok, it's not technical and is probably more suited to the caretaker forum that was linked to the other day.

 

I've been tasked with securing our sound system trolley to the wall. I was thinking of a metal plate with an eyelet screwed to the wall, and a thick chain to go around the trolley- but where do I start?!

 

If this was for something at home, I'd use it more as a deterrent than to actually prevent removal. Anyone had to do this before? Where do I look?

Two eyebolts in the wall, "U" loop either side of the trolley lining up with the bolts, two padlocks.

 

Is this a "stop people nicking it", "stop people turning it around and fiddling with the cables when they have no clue?" or both? If I'm breaking in to nick stuff, I'll probably bring bolt cutters.

 

I'm assuming a lockable trolley so you can secure the nuts holding the U-loops on the inside. Failing that, remove a bit of powder-coating and get Technology to weld a loop on either side.

Just as a reference-- our PE teacher told us that because they have archery practice in the hall nothing metal is allowed to be at one end for about 10m or so. Hence the reason why ours is mobile-- although we are looking into a wooden cabinet...
