Fixed Term Network Manager Contract

Required from end of July 2016

 

36 hours/week (pattern of work to be agreed)

 

Pay Scale £800 per week

Fixed Term Dates: July 2016 – December 23^rd 2016 with ability to extend for a further 3 months

 

We are seeking to appoint an interim Network Manager responsible for support, management and maintenance of the Fullbrook IT network. The role will have specific responsibility:

· The Network Team

· Network Infrastructure

· Manage Physical and Virtual Servers

· Network Security

· Internet Access and Filtering

· SIMS Administration

· IT Repair and Maintenance

· Software

· Helpdesk & Support Request Management

· Manage Relationships with Suppliers

· Manage Maintenance Budget

· Health and Safety

 

Experience with Mac networks, SIMS and VMware would be an advantage.

The person appointed may not necessarily be familiar with all the areas listed above, but a willingness to learn and be proactive is required.
