I thought I was imagining things but I'm not. When I click Log Out it says that all cookies have been cleared but then when I click the forums link I'm still logged in and can reply to posts. Anyone else find this?

Browser is Mozilla Firefox version 2.0.0.11.

Hmm I cant recreate it here in any browser. Can you try flushing all your cookies/cache and then restart the browser and try again.

Some of the cookies settings were tweaked a few weeks ago and I am wondering if its a hangover.

When you click "log off" it will still display your details on the "cleared cookies" page but when you click to go else where that box should clear.

I have tried that but it doesn't make a difference, it did it at home and work and it also does it on my laptop. I can click log off and go to the home page and then back to the forums and I'm still logged in and able to post.

Me too.

I'm at home today running Windows XP and IE7 and I'm posting this after doing exactly as directed in earlier posts.

I'll give it a go at school when I get back...

Me too, but only in the last week at home! Running Vista Home Premium at home with IE 7. At school, the problem has been that it takes ages to say that it has logged me out, and then sometimes it hasn't - running XP Prof and IE 6 there.

Can you try clearing your cookies and restarting the browser. Not sure how you could have a locked vbulletin cookie. The joomla cookie could be locked but unless you browse to the joomla parts you should remain logged out.
