Anyone in EMBC?

If so could you answer a couple of questions for me about the Synetrix service.

1. What version of Exchange are they running.

2. Does anyone have access to / got the information regarding the moving of EMBC Hosted websites.

3. I have been told that there will be different services that the schools can buy into. What are these services and when will they be available.

Many Thanks. :)

There were issues last week whilst they were dealing with things as part of transition. The site is now available again. If you need more information your central LA team dealing with the transition will be able to help you. Each LA is working on alert sheets specific to their LA and services that are being purchased, so it really should be the LA team you contact.

If you don't have any joy in the next day or so then please let me know and I will pass on your details to them.

Was told by one of our LEA contacts that as we use Mirapoint on EMBC, the move to Synetrix could mean a move up to Exchange 2007 free of charge.

Other than that he was pretty hazy on the info

Meeting? Is this just for your school or should all secondary schools have been invited? (is it with the LEA?)

From what I can gather instead of getting everything you choose what you need. You no longer automatically get stuff like video conferencing. Not been to the meetings yet so unsure on anything more.

As part of the Northants IT Managers' Meeting on Fri 15th Feb we have a pre- and post- migration breakdown from EMBC and Synetrix.

Details are on the Schools Fact Sheet and I will be emailing over the weekend to those schools we have the correct contact details for from the EMBC pre-migration questionnaire.
