Domino Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 The awkward chummy behaviour with whatever sportsman/actor they decide to trog out at each conference.
localzuk Posted June 14, 2016 Author Posted June 14, 2016 The awkward chummy behaviour with whatever sportsman/actor they decide to trog out at each conference. Ha! Yeah. That stuff is always so awkward and cheesy. The bit with Zac Efron during the EA Play announcements was hilarious. The look on his face when the presenter asked him a question was pure "I wasn't aware I'd have to talk!"
TomHD Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 I see you haven't mentioned Trials of the Blood Dragon. As a hardcore Trials player I am very disappointed with this latest release
localzuk Posted June 14, 2016 Author Posted June 14, 2016 I see you haven't mentioned Trials of the Blood Dragon. As a hardcore Trials player I am very disappointed with this latest release I did... Under the Ubisoft list If it is anything like the Farcry 3 Blood Dragon, it should be fun.
sted Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 the ones that hvae got my interest so far are the xbox scorpio (please keep that as the release name) and forza horizons 3 which i looked at to preorder and with the dlc (which from fh2 experience i will want £80) and the south park game but again with dlc was £70/80 (and £50 without) and even though you apparently get the stick of truth with it (which i already have as it was on sale for something like £5/10) thats way to much imo fh3 is seriously pushing it
Tesla Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Yah, Sony one seems disappointing (having read your bullet points, haven't actually paid much attention about E3). Maybe they think they have this generation of gaming sewn up. Xbox ones are already far cheaper than ps4s on offers etc, and now the basic one will get even cheaper with the Xbox One S out.... Could be interesting.
TomHD Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Sorry Localz, did t see that. I played it last night it's certainly not made for the hardcore players
localzuk Posted June 14, 2016 Author Posted June 14, 2016 My biggest gripe about it all is the fact that so many games are obsessively "multiplayer". I don't actually like much multiplayer stuff - especially games where you need to talk to each other. The things I'm most looking forward to are: Battlefield 1 - so long as it has a good singpleplayer Fallout 4 DLC New Wolfenstein Watchdogs 2 (maybe, hoping it isn't a failed hype train like the first one) South Park: Fractured But Whole There were a few interesting looking indie games shown too. Just can't remember their darn names!

I don't actually like much multiplayer stuff - especially games where you need to talk to each other. The things I'm most looking forward to are: this when the xob/360 first came out you could play civil games online so a group of us (often with randoms) played some version of project gotham and invented game types the game couldnt support (so offence defense where you team up (and the only way to do that was pick the same colour) and you had one fast car and one slow car and the fast cars werent allowed to win they just had to be attackers/blockers i cant see that being possible today on xbox live without all the verbal abuse that goes with it) The only multiplayer games ive played online recently have ben nintendo ones due to the lack of chat something i used to really enjoy but now its just awful
ellsandell Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Like the idea of the Play Anywhere stuff for Windows 10/Xbox. Hope they can convince some third parties to opt for it.

Hope they can convince some third parties to opt for it. from what im hearing about uwp (and companies being set up to provide from the steam store its almost another version of the game) i suspect unless its simplified/requirement altered i suspect not
haldarulon Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Wildlands for me star trek VR interested buuuuuuut... Playstation VR... my Mrs is super patient! I am gonna have two VR setups plus my gaming coffin (incorporates my gaming chair, X55, steering wheel Keyboard and mouse) redecorating front room to add a 3m 3D projector screen
Theblacksheep Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Shame no matter the xbox we're going to have to put up with that goddam awful UI. I know they are trying to blend xbox and windows but it is an ad infested social mess. Anyway, I liked: God of War Death Stranding (whatever Kojima does) The Last Guardian Final Fantasy XV Days Gone PSVR South Park: Fractured But Whole Forza Horizon 3 State of Decay 2 Recore Dishonored 2 Titanfall 2 Battlefield 1 Mass Effect Andromeda Wildlands Was never a massive fan of multiplayer games, but I've enjoyed the 'mingle player' style of games like Destiny and The Division in this generation where you can help each other out. So much better than simply raging against another lobby of players.
Duranis Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 I really feel like I'm getting old as I honestly don't really care about any of it. DLC for Fallout 4 is the only thing I'm interested in. The rest looks mostly like sequels to games I didn't really care about or stuff about VR which I don't have the money to pay out for. Also agree about the multi-player and even when there is a "single player" part it normally sucks. Titanfall was a good example of that. I really wanted to enjoy it but I couldn't even unlock all the Titans as you had to do certain things online and whenever I tried it never worked (I can't remember exactly what the deal was now but I know it locked me out of a huge starting part of the game).
cherd84 Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 For me its Xbox Scorpio, Fallout DLC, GR: Wildlands, Watchdogs 2, AC Movie. I would like to say FIFA 17 but they haven't made a good one since 13 IMO.
