dcwhitworth Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Hi I'm looking at MS training for my team. I've noticed that you can get self-study online training courses for a much lower price than classroom based ones. Does anyone have experience of these or recommendations of who to use ? My plan would be to allocate specific days/hours for training for my team members and definitely not be using this as an excuse to not lose a weeks worth of their time. Thanks
Sylv3r Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 I've signed my team up too http://www.lynda.com, content looks good and it comes with an initial trial to take a look first. Covers a wide range of Microsoft and non-Microsoft software. Can't remember the exact figure - possibly around £200 - £250 per person?
jslate1980 Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 If you sign up for Visual Studio Dev Essentials. You get 6 months free access to Pluralsight. Just go to here https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/products/visual-studio-dev-essentials-vs.aspx. There training videos cover a lot of topics not just web development.
