suebrand Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 When I did a course on Profiles I was given a small handbook that says, 'schools using InTouch can send completed profiles via Intouch' but it doesn't tell me how. I have looked at the SIMS documentation too and cannot find anything in there either, only how to send a message to say the reports are available. Does any one know how to do it?
Cache Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 (edited) Try the "Managing Communications using InTouch" and there's a section in there called "Sending a Pupil/Student Profile Message" Edit: We don't have InTouch so can't verify the process, although I'm sure it's right. PhilNeal Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 You can send Assessment Reports but I don't think you can send Profiles. If you have SLG you can load these and send a message that they're ready for viewing. 1
suebrand Posted June 2, 2016 Author Posted June 2, 2016 Thanks yeah had that confirmed by our local tech support now. It's a shame as we send all our assessment reports by email. We only use profiles once a year and were hoping to phase out our use of the SLG as we only use it for reports now. Oh well, back to the drawing board! - and stuffing envelopes!!!
Schoolcomms Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 You can email both SIMS assessment and profiles reports (also exam and curriculum timetables) using Schoolcomms. Give us a call, we do free trials so you can use it for real and send them all out, it takes a couple of minutes, much quicker (and cheaper) than stuffing envelopes. 1
Mistert89 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I worry that, I believe, the ability to eMail Profiles from In-Touch is definitely NOT on the road map!! We spend on products such as SLG and In Touch, yet have this significant gap, which is only filled by third parties. (and if they start getting too good, we will drop the incorporated services)
