We're still going with v5.3.25, but why can't I remove PCs that are no longer in existence? I've always removed from the group they're in, and then 'Remove from Group' again and they vanish. Now once they're not in a specific group, the remove is greyed out, so I now have over 100 machines that don't exist any more stuck in Impero?

Have you tried pressing Delete rather than right clicking and Remove From Group?

You probably need to run client clean up:

Click at the top right left of the console and select 'Client Cleanup'

It will then ask you for a date. Any machines not heard from by the console since that selected date will be removed.

At the top left of the console there are some icons/buttons:

[in my earlier reply I said 'Right' when I meant 'Left']

Click on the small Impero icon. The spring out menu posted earlier should appear.

Current Impro version: 5.4.20.

Hi @Trenton_Lister

If you click on the impero logo in the top left of the console, there's a client clean up tool which allows you to select a date and choose to remove all clients which have not been active since that date. I hope this helps.

Always the obvious things isn't it! Pushing delete works, and yes the client clean up. I got caught up with trying to find something in the admin console. Thanks people!

I use a small program called Airytec Switch Off to shut down all my computers. We have them all start between 07 - 07.30 in the morning using the BIOS APM setting and then at weekends the Airytec Switch Off shuts them all down at 0800 to save

electric. End of the day use Impero to select all computers not in use to shutdown.
