T_Lister Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Hi all, Chrome defaults to English - US and includes spell check. UK is not an option by default. Is there a GPO setting I can set on my server to force the language to English UK? Thanks in advance. 1

User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates> Google > Google Chrome > Application Locale and then enter en-GB, does this work? This works for our users Edited May 12, 2016 by KibosJ 8
T_Lister Posted May 12, 2016 Author Posted May 12, 2016 That would seem to have worked a treat (missed that one)! Many thanks. 1

OverWorked Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 Updating an old thread... This has probably been added to Chrome since @KibosJ posted, but I found you now also need User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates> Google > Google Chrome > Force enable spellcheck languages: en-GB 4
mikeishere555 Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 (edited) I may be going mad or missing something really obvious here but I can't see Force Enable Spellcheck Languages where you have described?!!! Edited September 11, 2019 by mikeishere555
Arthur Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 I may be going mad or missing something really obvious here but I can't see Force Enable Spellcheck Languages where you have described?!!! It's definitely there. You need to update your Chrome Group Policy templates (the ADMX/ADMLs). 1

Have you got the latest Chrome ADMX? They do get updated very regularly. 1
mikeishere555 Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 It didn't surprise me that I may need an update but I have downloaded the latest AMDX/ADML files from google and it's still not showing
