Using Yammer in schools

With Microsoft enabling Yammer licences for all users, I have had a few issues with removing access to it this week.

The idea of having an internal social network within a school makes me nervous, but I am just wondering is anyone using yammer in schools? What are you using it for? And how are you keeping it moderated?

It's now been disabled here. PowerShell script to remove licenses on all users.

We're currently getting microsoft to merge our Student.school 365 domain with our staff.school 365 domain, so that both staff and pupils share the same space.

 

I think it has potential, but exactly how we'll be using it and what for remains to be seen!
