Does anyone have any Apple based interview Q&As to test the knowledge of candidates? I'm ok with Windows, but looking for some think Apple based.

Thanks

How will you know if the answer is any good if you are struggling with the question?

Which Apple products do you use at your place?

Based on an iPad/iPhone:

Do you know how to restart an iPad? Not turn off and on, but restart (hold power button and home button together).

Do you know how to force close an app? (Double tap home button and slide app up).

Check for app updates (in app store)

Delete an app

TBH it depends what you want - someone who can use Puppet, Git & Munki to automate configs or just someone who knows a bit and can pick up the rest?

I prefer open questions like:

"You have a room of 20 Macs running Yosemite. Student video footage is worked on locally and may or may not also be backed up to $wherever_it_should_go.

You need to upgrade to El Capitan for September.

How would you go about checking footage was backed up, re-imaging the computers and ensuring all applications function as expected?"

"How would you automate application updates across $devices? How could you report on progress/success/failure?"

Some questions from the ACSP exam if this helps?

What are the two steps you should complete before you upgrade to El Capitan?

You downloaded an app using Safari. When you try to open the app, you see a message that says the application is damaged and cannot be opened. What is a possible explanation for this?

Which format is used to create file archives in disk utility?

I'm not a fan of technical questions during interviews personally, would rather someone ask me about theory or a scenario as an example of a question I got asked at one interview :

How would you ensure high availability of a virtual environment (Multiple switches, VM servers, UPS, vSphere HA etc)

On the other hand I've had interviews that just give you a load of multiple choice questions clearly nicked straight off the net! Which is exactly what I would do in the job if stuck with one of the technical difficulties, Google it ;)

What about... "Why are Apple things so terrible ? Discuss"

How does that help exactly? I get it you don't like Apple but please try to be constructive if you're gonna post.
