I agree that Spurs completely lost it yesterday and there is no excuse; it simply should not have happened.

I can't help wondering what kind of verbal they were getting from the opposition though. There's no excuse for trying to scratch Costa's eyes out or deliberately standing on Fabregas' hand, but both of those players are likely to have been needling throughout.

As a spurs fans, I would completely agree that the team lost it but it did make a change for us to be kick lumps out of Chelsea as this is their normal MO.

Dembele did poke Costas but Costa did make a meal of it as he grabbed the wrong eye.

Lamela probably did tread on Fabregas's hand but not sure if it was deliberate as he looking in the other direction but then Fabregas rolls a country mile afterwards and trying to grab Lamela's leg trying to get him sent off.

Leicester players havent been in the premiership to overinflate their values. Spurs have had the luxury of being able to sell players for £80m.

Leicester are as bad as City when it comes to bending the FFP rules, when they were in the champion chip they sold there international marketing rights a third party who then sold them on King Power. This allowed additional income into the club which magically filled the massive overspend and stopped them breaching FFP rules.

It will be interesting if Leicester can keep this form going in 4 completions next year, I think they played 41 and spurs played 51 games this season. Add to this all 11 spurs first team players are internationals and played all international games and Leicester have ~4 and they only played 2 additional games.

I think that everyone knows that Leicester can't possibly compete in League, Cup and Europe with the current squad they have (in terms of quality and depth). You overlook that Spurs had the "luxury" of rotating their squad so not all players played all games, Leicester used the same players for the vast majority of their games (they were fortunate with injuries).

On the internationals front; if you have players that are full internationals then the club knows what comes with that and should build a squad to accommodate this. For example, if you have African players that will be called away during the season rather than an international break.

We weren't fortunate with injuries. We have invested heavily in our sports science department and training routines and management has played a major part in keeping the main members of the squad fit. We know that we need to bolster the squad ahead of the UCL next season and I have no doubt that this will be done in plenty of time.

Just as a point of interest on the international front, Wes Morgan played all of last season, played for Jamaica during the summer and went straight into this season with only a week long break.

That's why you probably got included in the the EPO doping rumours that were in the papers along with Arsenal, Chelsea and Birmingham City.

We have been lucky with injuries, only one major one during foul play, look at united and liverpool who have had an injury list as long as your arm due to over training in a short period of time.

Arsenal have the worst injury record out there I think all season we have had less than a week with a fully fit squad! If we were doping we obviously weren't doing it properly!

Looks like tomorrow is going to be a bumper party, free Walkers Salt + Victory crisps for everyone as well as free Singha beer, a free pizza and a performance by Andrea Bocelli pre match. It's going to be an emotional occasion :)

Which was all a load of :censored: anyway. No proof was ever put forward for it.
