Windows education error 6192

Just finished building my images for win 10 education and thought today I would test an upload and download image.

 

When I run the litetouch.VB I get the error below.

 

Has anyone else had this issue or know a solution apart from rebuilding all my images which is going to be a real pain?

Did you check the sysprep log as suggested in the error message?

Can't get into it just get access denied and permissions won't allow you to take ownership or read them

What version of Windows 10 are you capturing? LTSB or education. If education have you remove have you removed the built-in apps?

capturing education version its an issues with the apps as after fixing the twitter issue it moves onto the candycrush errror them the messaging error and so on.

 

I have now started to recreate the images as much as it pains to!

Are you a physical or virtual machine to capture? What powershell script are you using to remove the in built apps? I had the same issue when capturing Windows 8.1 image.

I found that WDS really did not like capturing an image once I'd faffed about with the default programs.

I also found that even once I had it working, it installed the default programs anyway.

 

I ended up using Enterprise LTSB and using WDS to deploy the 'raw' operating system (i.e. without any modifications at all). Software is installed after-the-fact with either WDS 'Applications' settings (Office, Adobe suite), scripts run as part of our deployment sequence (.net framework, antivirus, disabling startup repair and system recovery) and Group Policy (lots of little other things). It seems a lot more stable this way, and I haven't needed to use SysPrep/OOBE at all.

 

It doesn't solve your issue, but it's another way to achieve the same end-result if you keep hitting snags.

If you are using mdt to capture and image you could use powershell script in the task sequence to remove apps during deployment.
