Hi all, I wanted to post & say hi rather than loiter forever on the online list !!

 

Very much enjoying reading the threads here from many sides of the coin - I have a 15yr old who loves IT and sharing a joke about the antics of classmates in their never ending quest for proxy sites & other questionably challenging activities & a 7yr who wishes their ICT suite were tripled in size and lessons in there could last all day !!

 

I run & own Silkysteps.com which is an Early years resource site & whilst a lot of the technical things here sound like 'whooosh I am also hoping the information can help me direct & inform visitors & members of my forum/website

Thanks Pixel drawing/image editing is much more practice than ability to draw though & a lot of the credit has to go to the hardware & software !!

11:48pm - your website has conked out. It was there a minute ago! I get the following message when I try to access any page:

 

Server Error

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.

JRun closed connection.

Really like the site that has been booked marked for our 1 one year old as we are currently collecting resources etc so that we have got box full of colouring materials etc.

Hi James,

 

The website was a project I placed in the hands of OMS ltd

 

Apart from a detailed brief I had little to do with the technical development of the site. I manage all content, upkeep and additional pages to the main site via a CMS.

 

Sorry .. I have a much better grasp on technical things now & build very basic pages for different occasions/upgrade the forum software etc but was a complete beginner at that stage !!

Cool, i was just wondering as i have had chats with the people who work for OMS in the past and they are a very good company i must say.

 

i supose we were all beginners at some point in life
