HarryMonkey Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 And it's goodnight from him as well now Entertainer Ronnie Corbett dies, aged 85 - BBC News
GeekyPete Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 The Two Ronnies were a big part of my TV viewing growing up. It's a sad day even if he was somewhat overshadowed by Ronnie Barker.
DJ-1701 Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Damn... those two were amazing... so many times they made us laugh and brought joy to our life. RIP. 1
VeryPC_Colin_M Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Oh dear. I was once behind him in the queue at Waitrose. Plucked up the courage to ask if he was indeed Ronnie Corbett to get a sneaky autograph (this was a few years before the selfie revolution on smart phones) and he replied "yes dear, are you the man who's going to help me take my shopping to the car?" Legend. 1
Sheridan Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Another part of my childhood gone! I loved the two Ronnies when I was a kid - just the right side of rude so that your parents would let you watch it!
elsiegee40 Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 This year has not been good. The stars of my youth are dropping like flies (the rest have been arrested)
sted Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 This year has not been good. The stars of my youth are dropping like flies (the rest have been arrested) at least at 85 you cant really complain but another sad loss

Legend. Did you take the shopping to the car for him then Very sad however I enjoyed him on TV for many years so another sad loss 2016 sucks big time 1
mthomas08 Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Met him once, made me laugh in 5 seconds. Will be missed and another one of the old generation comedy stars. When comedy was just that - comedy. None of this PC crap or social network whining because people don't have back bones anymore. Makes it hard to take when the great comedians are passing away every year that goes by. Now let me go buy some Fork Handles I mean Four Candles. 1
DavePa Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Another part of my childhood gone! I loved the two Ronnies when I was a kid - just the right side of rude so that your parents would let you watch it! Research has shown that 10% of men prefer women with short legs and 15% prefer women with long legs. The rest prefer something in between. I made the % up but was the joke one of theirs?
