House Population Analysis - SIMS dot net

I want to make a SIMS population Analysis report that does pupil totals per House not per registration group. Any ideas how to achieve this, please?

Grid analysis is a powerful way of doing this type of calculation. Its an output from the Report Generator.

Clone the existing population analysis, then you can add House as one of the fields. I'm pretty sure that's how we did it.

Probably the same as using grid analysis, but saves the hard work, if you start from the built-in one and save as so you can modify.

use the current pastoral structure if your access rights show it you? Members from a right click brings up numbers

Thanks all - not only do I now have a couple of ways to do the analysis - but I also have a quick route for the Admin staff to make a quick decision on House allocations for new joiners!

Great that you've got a couple of solutions, thought I'd chime in with one more very easy one:

Reports > Student Analysis Reports

 

All sorts of handy reports there! They're fixed (i.e. you can't edit them) but are a really quick easy way of getting at some common cohort breakdowns
