I think they must have recently started charging for it because I seem to recall it being free last time I looked. It isn't now though.

Well in thier post in June last year they say that it's Free and Open Source... so after some of us downloaded it and fed back to them about how to make it better... within 6 months they have gone back on their word and started charging... I feel used.. Plus you can only by with a Credit Card or Paypal... now 90% of Schools use a Purchase Order or Pro Forma Invoice.. not pay pay or Google Pay..

Please email Ozan from your school email address requesting access to MyLittleHelpdesk and he will sort it out.

It says he's removed it because of high bandwidth charges for everyone d/l it. Ben

Ethain Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 (edited) We also use Request Tracker, running on a LAMP server (PostreSQL rather than MySQL, but you get the idea). We don't bother with the e-mail features, but allow the "SelfService" web login. Any user can log in via their Active Directory username and password, create tickets, and see or comment on any tickets they raised that are open. They can also see closed (resolved) tickets they created, so they can check what we did. edit - just noticed this is the windows forum, but I'll leave this here as it is connecting to a Windows AD server, on an otherwise mainly windows network.
