RLR Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 We had a new staff member join and we went through setting up the SIMS teacher app with them. This means their Google email is associated with their SIMS account. But, apparently she had 2 SIMS accounts created by accident which means one got deleted. The one that got deleted was the one she had associated her Google email with. This account no longer appears in the SIMS Teacher App Provisioning site so we're unable to dis-associate the account to then allow her to associate to the correct account. Any ideas on how to get round this?
SimonCygnetIT Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Check in SIMS - System Manager that the users active account in there is linked to the the staff members personnel record. Under Roles it should say employee ect. If it only says User then that user account is not linked to the staff record and that needs to be sorted. Once sorted the staff member should hopefully then appear in the App Management Console.

The user is appearing in the App Management console but only for the newer account which hasn't been associated yet. The old account which has been deleted out of SIMS does not appear in the App Management console so we're unable to disassociate that user as it no longer exists but she can still log into it. Some sort of phantom account. I've raised a support call so hopefully we'll figure this out.
