G+ is still a separate thing - I have a Google account but not a G+ account.

With your email address (AFAIK) I could still view your (albeit blank) G+ profile, send you a message via Hangouts, etc.
deKay Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I don't have any sort of G+ profile, or access to Hangouts. Every Google service I've ever used that asks me to create a G+ profile (Picassa, Youtube, Hangouts, etc) I've declined and just stopped using.
