rpycroft Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Hi there, I am trying to get a test build ready for Windows 10 Enterprise so that we're ready to roll it out whenever we think the right time is however the key doesn't seem to be available when I log into our volume licensing (EES agreement) area. Does anyone else with the EES agreement have access to a MAK code for Windows 10 Enterprise? Not the LTSB, Education, Pro or anything else please, they're all available. I called Microsoft but they said I'm not eligible for it. Seems weird that everything else is there just not this. Have attached image of what I see just wanted to check if anyone else with the same agreement as us can see their license key or not. Obviously don't want the actual key from you! Thanks Richard
localzuk Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Apparently, they have stopped letting us have the Enterprise version. They say use Education instead, as it is Enterprise + extra APIs. Annoying though to be honest! 1
sted Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 iirc for kms keys at least you need to email them to get them added to your account they don't add new stuff by default 1
sparkeh Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Yeah we are not allowed to use Enterprise, has to be Education or Enterprise LTSB. 1
dapaulio Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 They are right you are not entitled to the Ent edition as they replaced it with Education edition which comes under your EES. i think they are being facetious and knew what you meant. Are you using the search facilty or filtering through the list. i find the search crap. The EES agreement has the education edition only. Our KMS was added automatically however i cannot recall whether we had to request the MAK key or that was added automatically also. I would look through VLSC again for the edu edition then if that is not there phone MS again tell them you want a MAK for edu edition 1
rpycroft Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Hi, thanks a lot for your prompt replies everyone. So long as I'm not alone in lacking the Enterprise full blown edition. Yeah I can see the Education edition. I just had some trouble blocking the Store on 32 bit machines on anything other than Enterprise edition. Doesn't matter that much as we only have a few machines that are 32 bit only. Everything else on 64 bit. Thanks again guys
