Claiming our school on Google maps

Hi All,

 

Has anyone else had difficulties claiming your school on Google Maps?

 

I have tried the phone option but as it is a recorded message it just talks to our recorded message. I have tried changing numbers so comes straight through to me but do not get anything.

 

I have also tried the post card method but both times I have not received anything.

 

I have tried ringing various Google numbers but can't get through to a human.

 

Has anyone tried doing it a different way? or has a number to speak to a human at Google?

I had to request the post card a couple of times, then I think someone else created a separate school in the same location, so I had to do the same for that so I could delete it...

 

The post card did look a bit like junk mail though - might the office staff have filtered it out?

I said to the office staff that anything addressed to me needs to go in my pigeon whole as I am expecting it.

 

She hasn't received anything for me.

I had to do more than one postcard request too, but it eventually got to me. @RichCowell is right. It does look like junk mail. I think it took around a month to get to me.

I'm not even gonna ask how she gets a whole postcard into your pigeon. Poor little thing!

Standard post method here. Stuff the pigeon with the whole post/package and then it flies to relevant person.

Anyone got another way of doing it as both phone and cards fail.

Could you go in early and disable the automated system for a few minutes to take the call? They do call within seconds so it wouldn't need to be off long...

Hadn't thought of that, I will look into but would have to be a holiday job.
