mikkydoos Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Hi all, Got a building with one Ruckus ZF7372 access point. I'm getting intermittent connection to it. i.e. the signal keeps dropping on connected devices. All the status lights look good. Its had a reboot. I can access it over the network. Log: The rest of the log shows a load of 'Joins', 'Leaves' by clients. It was fine until we came back after Xmas. I know we had a few power cuts during that time that may have damaged it... but there's nothing I can find in the logs. Any idea's whats going on anyone ?? Cheers in advance
smithson83 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Is there a pattern to the dropouts, eg, is it at certain times, or only under increased load etc? I'd swap it with another one elsewhere if you can, see if the issue moves with it.

Not really a pattern, just sporadic connects and disconnects. I'd rather try and troubleshoot it where it is because it's in isolation from the other AP's
mikkydoos Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 EDIT: While using an analyser app it looks like the AP is hopping from channel to channel. That's where the disconnect occurs. Funnily enough an Ipad disconnects but my old android phone stays connected. Maybe my phone is 2.4ghz only and the dropout is on the 5ghz channel.
