O365 account syncing Company

Does anyone have any recommendations on a decent company to help setup our password sync and potentially single sign on?

 

I put a new domain in over the summer and disabled the link to the old one (so all the O365 exist in cloud). Im looking at getting it set back up now but I need to link our new accounts to the existing ones in the cloud without endangering the email or documents there.

 

Just can find the time to sit down and focus on it at the moment and Im getting sick on the kids who cant remember their passwords!! We're in South Wales so someone local-ish would be helpful and greatly appreciated!

So you have accounts from your old ad in O365 and a new AD with new accounts for everybody on prem, and you want to connect the new AD accounts to the previously provisioned O365 accounts?

Pretty much yes - will need to setup the syncing software, and connect for example jonesDavid123 on our new domain to the existing [email protected]

 

The actual account names will be the same.

 

I looked into this briefly before and it was something along the lines of creating a soft mapping to a user element other than the unique one that O365 usually use.

I am not 100% sure on the costs, but IAM Cloud | The Ultimate IT Management platform should be able to do what you need. I don't use it, but i'm considering it.

I am using IAMCloud and so far everything working very well with SSO, User provisioning, cloud drive mapping etc.

They are in the cloud if i understand the question correctly - our Office 365 environment is running as a self contained unit.

 

Really all I want is to link it up to our new domain for password authentication which we had previously, but I dont want to screw up anything existing!

Hey CamelMan, even though IAM Cloud seems a bit overkill, we've found it's actually stupidly cheap even if you only use the SSO, password sync, self-serve password reset etc. You don't need to run any extra servers/VMs either, so there's not much to manage. What you are trying to do is almost identical to a process called called 'off-boarding' or a reverse hybrid implementation.

It is a pretty full on job. There are so I have heard, very very few people experienced in this process in the UK.

IamCloud seem to be claiming that they are leaders in AzureAD/Office365 so they might be a place to look.

 

MrBen may also be a good bet, as it seems to me that this sort of thing is likely to have been more often encountered by LA teams that in the commercial sector.
