Their TV advert annoys me. Why advertise that you can get 200mb by showing someone watching a couple of YouTube clips which would probably work on a 2mb feed?

Maybe they're viewing a 4K clip!

Had ours before XMas. Not without "issues" as is usual with Virgin these days. Cheaper than the 152mb was on previously too and because gaming latency is way too high due to work that is put back every few months I get a £14.50 rolling credit every month too. So 200mb and Phone for £13.50 a month at the moment :)

100 to 150mb

I don't need 150 but when the price gets hiked up next time I just ring and complain and drop it back to 100 and save some cash.

I HATE being locked in with VM, how can a company have such a monopoly? Its 2Mb at best with any other supplier or 200Mb with VM.

They know I cant go to anyone else and have me over the proverbial barrel.

I know what you mean but I don't think it can't really be classed as a monopoly, you are free to go to other broadband providers after all. Its just that in a lot of places they have a better product.

Also the predecessor companies (ntl and the smaller cable companies before that) invested heavily in their own networks to provide that better product.
