How to get Exchange to forward pupil mail to a different server?

Hi All

School uses Exchange 2003 for staff and Precendence (Net Manager) Webmail for pupils. The Net Manager happliy sends pupil's mails to staff, but the Exchange server does not send mails to the pupils - it bounces them back saying recipient not found.

This is fine as the pupil's accounts are on the Net Manager, not Exchange.

How can I tell Exchange to forward on all mail not belonging to the security group "staffglobal" - or something similiar?

I looked at routing groups but I really don't want to mes things up!

Thanks!

As TeddyKGB says, you would need to have a difference in FQDN between the staff and pupils so that you can configure a rule in Exchange.

An alternative is to use a mail proxy that does some clever inspection of the addresses using Exim (or similar) and forwards on the mail. An advtage of this too could be spam/virus checking could be carried out on the proxy too.
