Recommend me a socket 775 cooler

A few Weeks back I was given an old media PC I had made for a friend about 6 years or so back.

It was made from old components using a cheap media pc case (still looks very good today!) and he paid for a decent-ish motherboard and Blu-Ray\HD DVD drive.

It had an old Pentium D I had spare at the time as the processor and I've since put in a Core 2 Quad Q9500 (thanks @ict-direct) and a cheap Patriot 120GB SSD which has spead it up no end.

My only problem is that I am using an Intel stock cooler and it really ramps up the volume when under load so need to replace that.

If anyone can recommend a decent quiet cooler for about £15 it would be much appreciated.

Just got to get my hands on a decent-ish cheap gfx card after that as atm it has a passivley cooled GeFirce GTX 9500 in there which is struggling.

The Scythe Shuriken is very good if you are specifically requiring a low profile heatsink but it is quite a bit more expensive than your budget at ~£25.

Bit of a thread ressurection here.

The motherboard that was fitted to this media pc was an old Gigabyte DDRII nForce board with SATA 2. However, because Windows 10 does not support this type of nForce board Windows 10 has used generic Microsoft drivers for a lot of components and there are no Nvidia drivers to be had.

Whilst this does work, it's hardly delivering the goods given the Core 2 quad now powering it.

What I'd like is a reccomendation for a motherboard with the following specs if you know of one:

Having had a Gigabyte ATX one in a PC here which did outstanding duty (commissioned in 2007, decommissioned in 2014, 24-7 use in that time), a Gigabyte GA-P35C-DSR3R, I would recommend Gigabyte's Ultra Durable stuff. Seems they didn't do a M-ATX P35, but the GA-G41MT-S2P and its ilk seem to fit the bill - GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 775 - GA-G41MT-S2P (rev. 1.3)
