FN-GM Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 I have just created an Exchange account, I can get into the exchange via outlook but not OWA. I created the account last night and I still get the problem this morning. Any thoughts please? Z
Diello Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 'Outlook Web Access' enabled for the user is AD under Exchange Features?
FN-GM Posted January 21, 2008 Author Report Posted January 21, 2008 Yes its working fine for the older users.
Guest AustenLowe Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Try this, on your comp logged in as you, put in the url to your owa server with their mailbox on the end. e.g. http://myexchsvr.maildomain.com/exchange/fred.blogs I have had your problem many times, as soon you goto the url it should ask for authentication get the user to login with their details and it should fix it for good. I assume you're a domain admin when doing this. I have never found a perfect fix for this one so if you do let me know
paul Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 You’re not using IE6 by any chance are you? If so it’s a well known problem as previous poster states going to there account from your admin account will fix this, if you would prefer a more full proof fix eradicating this upgrade to IE7

Z Our domain is part of an LA forest and as such we are only in charge of our own Exchange server, rather than the entire Exchange Organization. We found that we had the same problem you describe when some bright spark decided to change the recipient policy affecting our school. If you're in a similar set up or there's a chance someone has changed your recipient policies, take a look in Exchange System Manager at: YOUREXCHORG > Recipients > Recipient Policies You can use the last modified column to see if anything's been changed recently.
FN-GM Posted January 21, 2008 Author Report Posted January 21, 2008 AH i fixed it, i didnt know OWA didn't like spaces in the username!
FN-GM Posted January 22, 2008 Author Report Posted January 22, 2008 Its happening again and this time there is no spaces on the username
