MCSE 2003.... Worth learning ?

For an MCSA you neet to take:

 

1 x client exam, at the moment this can be 210 Win2k Pro, 270 XP Pro or 260 Vista.

 

2 x Core networking exams 290 and 291

 

1 x Elective exam, there is a list of electives on the MS site one e.g. is the Exchange Server exam.

 

What i'm saying is you can use the MCDST as the elective and if you take the 70-261 upgrade exam to make it Vista support you can use it as the client exam requirement instead of 210,270 or 260 (so you don't need to bother with the client exam:-)).

Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Windows Vista – Configuration

Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Support Technician
