Is ANYONE going to be there on Saturday? Starting to envision walking into an empty convention centre.

Be there Thursday to Saturday, even though Ofsted have been in today and are now back tomorrow.

 

A section 5 turned into a section 8. Change of Ofsted grade likely. Hopefully it's for the better not for the worse

Yep, hoping for better. Couldn't believe the timing. It's been so quiet for us we've been able to catch up on paperwork and other admin jobs.

BETT on a Saturday is a bit of an odd beast compared to the other days. In my experience Saturday is often full of teachers/techs who couldn't get time off in the week (fair enough) and hundreds of rampaging school children who try and take everything off every stand that isn't nailed down (not so good...). On the plus side, catch it right on a Saturday afternoon and many of the stands will give away what's left rather than have to pack it all up again :)

As far as I know the correct directions are

 

"Head South until people stop being nice to you"

 

Is that right??

I rather think you might be mistaken, old boy. Tis the heathens "oop North" who are the rude, uncivilised brutes :)

I found it amusing how the motorway has signs saying "The NORTH" and "The SOUTH".. Both sound so ominous depending on where you're coming from xD
