iOS Management Apps/Profiles

Hi there,

 

I am looking for some advice on the best management software/apps or profiles to use on our growing number of iPads.

In the past I used Meraki which enabled me to install a profile on each iPad which talked to their centralised website which would tell me where the iPads are, what is installed on them and how much they have been used.

 

Sadly the licence expired for Meraki and I am just about to order a new batch of iPads.

Can anyone recommend any other management software or should I stick with what I know?

We have around 40-50 iPads used in multiple areas throughout the school.

Meraki is free for MDM, so if you're used to it and it works for you then carry on with it.

 

It used to be very slow for us as we added quantities, but has been back to what it should be since iOS 9 came out.

I'm using the free version of Meraki, if you won;t be getting more than 100 ipads, you can upgrade to the latest version and it will still be free.

 

So far, I'm quite happy with it, except for a little trouble installing their own app. I've managed to get it setup to push out apps silently which is what I've been hoping for.
