Joanne Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Every time I've got a new companion I've stuck with them until I've got the perk, then they get dumped at Sanctuary!!
Garacesh Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Yeah, I'm doing that too, I just didn't bother replacing Dogmeat until recently. So now I've maxed out Cait and CVRIE and I don't know who to pick next! I can't be bothered travelling with someone that's going to whinge when I pick a lock or hack a terminal lol.
Tesla Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Travel with Nick? He has some good humour. I need to do CVRIE, but dunno where shes based ( i have seen her, just can't remember where/cba to google)
Garacesh Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Vault 81. You have to do the quest where you search for the cat for the little girl (Erin, is it?) and then come back later, a boy will be ill after being bitten by a mole rat, and you'll have to head into a secret portion of the vault. DO NOT suffer any damage from the mole rats inside. I'm suffering a permanent -10HP debuff because of it Then again, you can keep the cure for yourself which will presumably remove that but I decided to be nice.

Garacesh Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 So does Cait in fact, that's basically how I got full affinity with Cait. That and being sarcastic/a bit rude to people.
Tesla Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Vault 81. You have to do the quest where you search for the cat for the little girl (Erin, is it?) SNIP but I decided to be nice. Yeah, i done all of that, i just was with Cait at the time so didnt take curie with me, but i'll head there at some point soon then. Anyone found the Robot racetrack?
Arreks Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Aye, lots of explosions were had. I've uninstalled, really can't spend anymore time on it! couldn't put as much time into it as Skyrim or Fallout 3..
Joanne Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I somehow got Stong to admire me last night despite him disliking everything I do!
Joanne Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) it wouldn't let me flirt with him... I'm not at full admiration jusst yet though. Got in with Mcready though last night.... AWWW YIIISSSS.... "But what about your Husband?" "PAST IS PAST DUDE - HE DIED LIKE 70 YEARS AGO #YOLO" Edited January 6, 2016 by Joanne

Joanne Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Have I NOT finished the main storyline then??? More: I thought the head of the Institution was my son (about 70 y/o)... am I wrong??? Is the REAL Shaun somewhere else????????????
Garacesh Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Have I NOT finished the main storyline then??? More: -snip- Oh, right? Well I figured since Kellogg wasn't an old man, and still looked basically the same as when he nicked Shaun as a baby, and when you're rooting around in his memories, Shaun is only around 10 years old.. So I figured it wouldn't be too long after that. I haven't completed the story either. I've only just got the chip from the Corsair, but I haven't had the Railroad inspect it yet.
Joanne Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Oh OK... I have completed it. You'll find out all about that in time. Hope I haven't spoiled anything LOLZ!
Garacesh Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Nah it's alright. I use Reddit. So I already know half the big spoilers anyway. Such as [actual mega spoilers] Danse being a Synth and the like.
Joanne Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 oooohhhh, didn't know that because I TEERASHED [ the brotherhood ] I wonder if he is still at the Cambridge Police Station for me to talk to?
Garacesh Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) Oh yeah. I've not gotten that far with the Brotherhood quest line yet, just done the repeatable ones a few times and gotten onto the Prydwen, and been given the mission to wipe out the Super Mutants at the fort, only I think it's bugged because I can't board the vertibird to fly back down... Maybe I can skip it by just going there, but haven't tried. But anyway, apparently they go absolutely nut:censored: at you when they find out and you have to convince them that you didn't know. And then they want you to give him a nice pair of concrete wellies. So yeah, that's something. Edited January 6, 2016 by Garacesh
Joanne Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 oh yeah mine did that on the ps4. I had to save the game, load the game and then it would let me do it. Weird!
Duranis Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I have got to the point in all the faction quest lines where the next quest will basically cut off a faction. Going to make a save here and play through each faction, ending with the railroad last which is the faction I actually want to choose so can continue with that save. I was tempted to pick the institute because despite some of the horrible things they have done they also have the best chance of really making a difference in the commonwealth and seeing as you get put in charge of them. Then they could be a real force for good in the common wealth (especially supported by the settlements I already have working together, the minutemen and the railroad if you let the gen 3's go free). The brotherhood wouldn't like it but there wouldn't be much they could do against me. Just a shame there is no way to get an ending like that.

I suspect by now I'm very close to having to choose. But for now I haven't had to yet. So I think I'm going to do the quest lines as far as I can too, just for more content and exp
Arreks Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I found the ending of F4 reaaaaaaaaaaaally disappointing (regardless of your option), in terms of post-ending gameplay.
Domo Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I found the ending of F4 reaaaaaaaaaaaally disappointing (regardless of your option), in terms of post-ending gameplay. i completed it in like 35 hours, played 5 more afterwards and uninstalled it xD
Grey-gear Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 After I played through once I liked the ending I had so I decide to move on, that was near the start of December.
