Webcams for stop motion

Can anyone recommend a webcam for stop motion? We're using monkey jam and need a camera on a tripod. Not looking to spend too much as we need 12 cameras.

we us Logitech cameras no driver issues they just work

We've found Hue cameras to be handy for the classroom:

Maybe not the cheapest option, but they are more likely to last in the average classroom as a self-contained all-in-one unit.

We've used the Hue camera, and the MS lifecam and the raspberry pi camera for this all with perfectly reasonable results.
