GrumbleDook Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Hunters? Pish and tosh ... they can't fight for themselves so they drag in an animal to do it for them ... just you wait until the RSPCA start logging onto the servers ... we'll quickly find all these hunters rounded up and locked away. And don't get me started on Druids. "I'm a friend of the animals".... that is just downright creepy.
Geoff Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 You don't even want to know what warlocks get up to with their succubus behind closed doors!
Jake_89 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I caught one once whilst in Shadowmeld AFK.. t'was a nasty sight.
GrumbleDook Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Then again ... they say that warriors are only interested in building up enough for one fantastic move ... and are then useless for ages afterwards; Paladins have a combination of casting and fighting ... so they go both ways; rogues are just looking for different ways to skulk and watch people ... not that I have anything against voyeurism of course ... Anyone we haven't insulted yet?
Stese Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 You don't even want to know what warlocks get up to with their succubus behind closed doors! it's what she does with that tail that concerns me... lvl 37 'lock on Terenas (Grunman)
browolf Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 i made it to level 40 but dont think i have enough rep to get a mount. switched skinning to mining to make some cash for it. upto 80ish gold so far. I dont seem to have any 40ish missions i can do myself :| so im doing ones in darkshore for tiny amounts of darnassus rep hehe, as a diversion.
Geoff Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 You don't need rep to buy a mount from your 'home' faction. So example, if you are a human you can buy a horse regardless of what your faction standing with Stormwind City is. The 'Exhalted' faction requirement only kicks in if you wish to buy another factions mount. eg, if you are a Dwarf and wish to buy a mechcanostrider Dnome mount you need to be Exhalted with the 'Gnomeregan Exiles' faction. The best way to do this is by grinding rep in the battlegrounds. There is one (minor) reason to not buy a mount until you've increased your reputation with your faction though. If you are Honoured or above then you get a 10% price discount on items bought from that factions vendor. This isn't very much for a standard mount but it equates to a fair chunk of change for an epic. Also this discount stacks with the 10% discount you get at PVP Rank 3.
browolf Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 oh right im stormwind. i wouldnt mind a tiger thing but im not sure theres enough missions around haha. prob better to switch to one later.

Jake Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 woohoo...got my 2 copies of Burning Crusade just now, queue outside Game was mad. About 50 people queued up when I arrived at 7:50am. By the time I had left over half the stock had gone, and the queue was still going. All preorders too...one guy didnt have a preorder and was promptly told by the assistant that he had no chance of getting a copy and should have preordered. He was mad, he stood in the corner of the shop for 20 mins just huffing and puffing about not having the expansion
