[sccm 2012] MDT to SCCM

Evening all,

 

We are soon to be provided with SCCM by our LEA. I realise this comes with access to MDT but could someone point me in the direction where it explains the difference in the creation of a zero touch deployment and a lite touch deployment. How much different is it with regards to setting up?

 

Any weblinks or pdf ebooks would be handy. I'm off to search Google but thought someone might have a quick reference to hand.

If you are using sccm then the only difference between LTI and ZTI is whether you initiate the deployment from the PC or from the sccm console.

 

So my OSD tasks can be run by PXE booting a machine and choosing the relevant task or by putting the machine in a group with the task mandatory assigned to it so it runs without me visiting the machine.

 

Same task, just launched in a different way.
