Hi

We've rolled out AirServer to all our IWB PC's this week and the response from teachers has been fantastic. Lots of departments already using some great apps in lessons. We have one teacher who has an ipad, swears blind he put in the right password but his AirPlay settings just constantly flash, reload or just won't connect. His iphone in the same room connects fine, as does mine. Wifi receiver is in the same room, perfect signal and everything is on the same WAN etc.

Is there a way to reset the AirPlay settings on an ipad without resulting to factory defaults or a large hammer? Just need to clear the connection settings that are obviously saved somewhere for this one device so we can start again.

Thanks as always

We found that users who had updated to IOS9 couldn't connect to AirServer which we rolled out at the beginning of the new year. We soon found out that AirServer released an update the day after IOS9 which supports IOS9 airplay. We are currently deploying the new version of AirServer to our classroom computers.

If this is not the same issue you're getting you can try reset the network settings on the iPad. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Googled the downloadable link for c++. Found the exe on Microsoft website then found the install parameters to go with it so that could also be deployed as part of the package. We have a piece of software called PDQ Deploy which can push out install files to machines on the network. I'm not in work atm but can give more information tomorrow if you need it.

Another vote for PDQ here, I use it for all my software distributions including AirServer (just done the update to the new version with it today). Modified the itunes distribution to install Bonjour and stop all the apple updates, then installed 2015 and Airserve. Took about 2 mins. Love PDQ, best management tool I have bought this year by miles
