TechSupp Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Sorting out an old laptop for use as a spare and trying to get Google in IE. Any other site is fine, but its just IE gives a connection error. Chrome is installed and Google comes up fine on that? Anyone ever had it? Its not a major problem but just one of those annoying ones I would like to fathom out why! Its an XP laptop running IE7, so that's why its not an issue if it does not get fixed. Ran a scan and cleanup on it and its come up fine.
localzuk Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 This is probably down to Google having dropped support for IE7. IE7 might be trying to use a form of SSL/TLS that Google don't support, so they might be dropping the connection.
