Public Photo Upload Site

Does anyone know of a site where people can upload photos without first having to create an account? I'm looking for an easy way for wedding guests to share photos after the event. All the obvious ones (Google, Dropbox, Facebook) all need accounts. I thought of Flickr upload by email, but that is against the terms of use.

 

Alternatively, how about a site where a username/password would allow the upload of photos but not the deletion of existing ones?

What about one drive. Just click on share then forward the link. I thought you could do the same with Dropbox?

OneDrive lets you look at photos anonymously, but makes you sign in when you want to upload was looking at it just a couple of weeks ago for similar reasons.

That would let me share any photos I had, but not allow other people to upload their own.

That OneDrive was no use didn't look further than that, was only for $tech and friend to be able to share astrophotography shots from a trip to the Namibian desert (because if you're going to stargaze, you do it right; I don't employ people who do things by halves )

Unless I'm missing something, that site doesn't allow lots of people to upload to the same shared folder...

How about setting up a wordpress blog, and issue out a user for people to use?

I know you said something that doesn't need signed up to, but we used wedpics for our wedding with some great results. Asked all guest to download the app and use it on the day, most of them did. You can download all the images after your wedding for free.

Someone else mentioned that too, but we didn't like the limitation of it only working from phones.

Yes you can

 

WedPics is available on iPhone (iOS 6.0+) and Android (4.0+). For guests that prefer to use traditional digital cameras or have other mobile devices, they can upload their photos directly to your albums via the web using a computer. We also encourage your wedding photographer to share his or her photos to your album as well!

 

They offer a lot of products to buy, but we used them without spending a penny.

So, to give you the conclusion to this, the wedding was this weekend and there are already several hundred photos on Wedpics, including some which were taken and uploaded live on the day.

 

People do need to register with it, but just giving their name and email address, nothing too scary.

 

All in all, a good site, easy to use and administer and free. You can invite people to join via email, Facebook, etc. plus you can buy business card sized flyers (400 cards for £40ish) with all the details on. We put details in the Orders of Service, with cards on the tables at dinner and then more cards scattered around in the evening. Anyone who is registered with the wedding can view all the pictures, including downloading them and ordering prints.
