SIMS - Extracting data for new Y7s

Hi,

 

I'm trying to extract some data for our new Y7 cohort, even though the new academic year is not technically active until tomorrow. I've tried designing a custom report, but I can't see an option where I can just pull data for all 'future' students (i.e. the Y7s).

 

Any ideas anyone??

You should be able to create a new report, then choose students, then on the next screen where you usually see 'On roll' as a drop down, click this and choose accepted pre-admissions.

The "effective date" is what you need to change. They won't be on-roll until tomorrow.

Thanks guys. I've managed to get the data out now!

 

I selected the 'accepted pre-admissions' option and selected the data items I needed.
