Rocket League

So, I've finally bought Rocket League, and spent about an hour playing it, it's so much fun!

 

Does anyone else play?

Tried it and got bored quite quickly; mostly out of nostalgia for a similar game back in the days of 33k modems (can't remember the name). I think I'm getting old

I've played but it does get quite boring quite quickly. Can't stop playing GTA Online at the moment!

The only reason I haven't bought it is because I can tell it'll be short-lived

I have played it, great for a quick fun blast.

I'm always on it, not bored of it yet - Once you start to master aerial hits & start playing ranked matches it gets really competitive. Great fun and love the social features they've built into it.

I play this game most nights and really enjoy it. I'm better in defence than up front though.

I've played it - but I can only really take it in about half hour sessions before I start to get a bit bored with it.

 

Some of the trick shots pulled by people though - crickey, they're like flippin' Ronaldo. Me? I'm more Ronald McDonald on it.

I am still exhausted this morning, because I went round a friend's on Saturday for a final night of beer 'n' video games with 3 of us before the arrival of his son next month. After some traditional Mario Kart & Smash Bros. fun, we switched to Rocket League about midnight. First time I've played it. Had half an hour playing against the computer as a team of three, then went online for some ranked matches.

 

Didn't go to bed until 4am. So much fun. Don't want to be in work. Want to be sat on his sofa whupping strangers.

I've wasted a number of hours on it and love it.

 

Have to disagree with the 'board quick' statements, I could play it for hours on end!

Great multiplayer game... not sure it'd be as much fun playing it alone.

 

The real excitement comes when you're screaming "HAVE YOU EVER PLAYED VIDEO GAMES?" at your mate when they let in a stupidly easy own goal.
