cooka Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Hi gyus, Having some problems booting from the network with a SP3. I have updated the firmware so the it will enable me to boot via PXE, but when it downloads the boot wim to begin with, it pulls down the x86 wim, and not he x64.wim. After the wim is downloaded, it errors. Anyone else seen this? Im using SCCM 2012 R2. Many thanks
DalekSec Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 How did you create the wim? Is it an image capture from a Surface pro 3 or?
cooka Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 The wim in the task seq is from a surface pro. I cant even get to the task sequence selection screen tho. Its the boot wim that im having problems with :S
Davit2005 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 (edited) We bought the Microsoft USB network adapter for ours, we found the StarTeck USB that worked with the HP tablets had a different chipset which wouldn't work on the Microsoft Pro. The Boot Image needs to be 64bit I think Once the drivers were loaded for on the PE image and the boot image updated we didn't have a problem. We build Images in a virtual environment BTW.
